Located in beautiful Ramsey Canyon in Hereford, just south of Sierra Vista, the Arizona Folklore Preserve features entertaining and informative performances by celebrated folk artists including Arizona's Official State Balladeer, Dolan Ellis. Show times for the regularly scheduled Saturday and Sunday shows are 2 pm each day. The doors open at 1 pm. The preserve is closed for summer vacation during July and August.

The cost for the matinee shows is $15.00 for adults and $6.00 for students 17 and under.  Snacks and soft drinks are available for purchase at the afternoon shows, and you are welcome to take them to your little bistro-style table and enjoy them as you watch the show.Folklore Preserve Lobby

To check on the performance schedule and to secure reservations, please call: (520) 378-6165 and leave a message or email: folklore@email.arizona.edu. Groups are welcome. Call for reservations. Plan to carpool if possible since parking is limited.

To get to the preserve take Highway 92 south from Sierra Vista to Ramsey Canyon Road, 7 miles south of the city. Turn right on Ramsey Canyon Road and signs will guide you to the AFP.
